Shelley Molad is a New York based actor, writer and on-camera coach.  Feature film projects include playing Maria in the critically acclaimed indie feature Out of My Hand (Winner Best Film at the LA Film Festival, Independent Spirit Award Nominee, Official Selection Berlin Film Festival), available on Netflix and iTunes.  TV projects include playing recurring character Detective Irma Rivera in Season 4 of ID Network's The Perfect Murder, as well as playing Anne, a young mom in Adulthood, a TV pilot created by Rob Alicea that premiered at HBO's NY Latino Film Festival.   Commercial projects include March of Dimes, Stella Beer, Cover Girl,  Optimum/Altice, Artletica, Connecticut Children's Medical Center, Pearson Education, and Amazon's Audible.  As an on-camera coach, Shelley teaches filmmaking and audition technique and offers private on-camera coaching and taping services for TV and Film auditions. Shelley holds a BA in Creative Writing and Theater from Sarah Lawrence College and an MFA in Acting from The New School for Drama and has completed semester programs at NYU Tisch School of Dramatic Writing and the Moscow Art Theater School.
